About the opportunity

Our Takanini Distribution Site is looking for a solution focused and proactive Despatch clerk to join the team. As a Despatcher, you will be responsible for;

• Coordinating and executing daily outbound deliveries of materials
• Ensuring all delivery shipping information is accurate
• Export packing, including both export and domestic across several vendors.
• Managing paperwork and documentation
• Ensure Truck Docking process and procedures are managed
• Ensuring health and safety requirements are met
• Doing all you can to ensure that the output targets are met
• Truck Loading and Stock movement

Your strong knowledge of exports and Sap experience will assist you in completing tasks efficiently and to schedule. This is a fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same, your high attention to detail and forward thinking will mean that your work is always accurate and compliant.

Full time – 3, 2, 2 Fixed Roster (14 Day Cycle)

Night shift: 17:09 PM to 05:15 AM

About you

To be successful in this role your customer service skills along with your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will play a pivotal part in maintaining strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders, who you will be liaising with on a regular basis.

Your previous experience in warehousing and/or logistics will allow you to really own the outbound delivery function and all it encompasses.

You will utilise your sound planning skills to help support the FBNZ Takanini site to meet compliance requirements. Being solutions focused, you will be an expert at removing roadblocks to ensure stock transfers and sales orders are delivered to our customers’ expectations and regulatory requirements.

Together with a can-do attitude and good work ethic, you’ll be able to demonstrate a background of:

• Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• SAP experience essential
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Previous experience with warehousing, transport & logistics, inventory control, despatching (or similar), export packing ideally in a FMCG environment is preferred
• Critical thinking & attention to detail
