Food Lion Hiring for Grocery Stocker (Pantops Food Lion) at Charlottesville, VA Full Time

Job Duties:
Provide quality customer service to our customers through the Grocery Department. Engage and interact with customers to create a positive shopping experience. Only rotate product in accordance with Food Lion current stocking and conditioning policy. Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves. Maintain shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag. Find more efficient ways to do the job and seeks ways to improve labor productivity. Understand and adhere to Food Safety guidelines and procedures. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures. Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 70 pounds as needed to stock product.
Ability to push or pull product up to 2000 pounds, using a pallet jack.
Ability to meet production standards established by Food Lion.
Ability to stock, rotate and organize product as needed.
Ability to recognize and maintain proper shelf allocations.
Ability to complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and Training Aid courses.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
