Food Production Hiring For Baker/Cook at Kelowna, BC Full Time

The Baker/Cook will assist with the overall operations of the Bakery Department. Your duties will include many responsibilities and within your position you will cross over to other positions as well.

Rate of pay: $25-$35 per hour

Responsibilities

· Leading by example by training staff to package and handle food properly, in a food safe manor and environment

· Establishes high standards and takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work

· Maintains work area to a satisfactory level of cleanliness and sanitation

· Retains and records food safe documentation and check lists in an orderly fashion

· Interacting with customers by educating them with product knowledge that will promote sales and increase revenues

· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while performing multiple tasks

· Building displays that show our products, stalking shelves, and customer’s transactions through the POS system

· Assembly work

· Ensures health and safety standards are executed

Experience

· Must have valid work authorization in Canada

· Minimum 2-3 years of similar work experience in commercial food production

· Loves working in a clean and well-maintain, organized workplace environment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Must be capable of lifting 50lbs regularly
