Wairau Road PAK’nSAVE is one of Auckland Northshore’s largest supermarket retailers and prides itself in providing each and every customer with the best in store shopping experience with us.

We invite expressions of interest from applicants that are highly motivated, friendly and outgoing, with a great team attitude, to apply for the Checkout Operator positions we currently have available in our busy Store. Reporting to the Checkout Manager and Checkout Supervisor you will be responsible for providing an accurate, efficient and professional service at the front line, ensuring customers and colleagues experience the highest possible standards of service.

The successful applicants will display excellent communication skills, high personal presentation standards, honesty and an excellent work ethic. A good command of English, both verbal and written, is essential. Previous cash handling and frontline customer service experience is preferred, however, depending on the successful candidates, full training will be given.

The exact hours and days of the positions will be discussed at the interview stage but you must be willing and able to work daytime hours (between 6.30 am and 10.00 pm), evenings and weekends, so flexibility with rostered hours is a must. These are full and part time positions and the role will ideally suit those who pride themselves in providing excellent customer service to each and every customer every time and enjoy being at the frontline as an ambassador in their day to day role for the store; having the flexibility to work during the day as well as some weekend and evening work.
