PAK’nSAVE Rangiora are looking for a talented and passionate Baker to join our business and help us reach our goal of being the “Future of food retailing in North Canterbury”.

Our Bakery Department provides our loyal customers with the highest quality fresh baked product. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your baking skills and product knowledge with the chance to work in a dynamic, high energy environment. Day to day you will be working with a hands on team who are passionate about giving customers a great food experience.

The role consists of:

• Ability to prepare quality bakery goods – breads, cakes and biscuits for retail sale
• Ability to present bakery products to a high standard
• Complying with our food safety and health and safety programs
• Working as part of a team and independently
• Maintaining efficiency in the daily production schedule set out by the Bakery Manager

We are looking for an individual who:

• Has previous Cake decorating experience
• Has previous bread baking experience
• Has worked in a bakery or Supermarket previously
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety Guidelines

You will be part of a team that reports directly to the Bakery Manager. This is a permanent Full time 40-hour position, working Tuesday to Saturday 02:00-10:30 or 04:00-12:30.
