About us:

This position is based in our Stafford Nursery, based in a large period property with lovely gardens and great transport links this is the most recent edition to the footsteps family of nurseries. Our nursery situated on Newport Road has excellent transport links being both close to the local bus route and train station.

We aim to nurture all our children as individuals by giving them the opportunity to develop physically, emotionally, socially and intellectually through playing, exploring and learning with others in an environment that is safe, child-focused and above all happy and fun!

Responsibilities:

• The care and supervision of the children with regard to their physical, emotional and intellectual needs.
• Working with the Early Years Practitioners on planning and preparation of activities, to meet children’s individual needs, liaising with parents and negotiating working targets ensuring effective communication within the nursery.
• Assist with the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• Take part in delivering the highest standards of care throughout the nursery

What we need from you?

• Passion and commitment for working in childcare
• Ability to work shifts between 7.30-6.30pm Monday to Friday up to 40 hours per week
• Commitment to continual development

Please note the nursery is open from 7:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday, shift patterns will be rotating within these opening hours. Please make sure you can commit to early and late shifts before applying.
