After School Full-time English Teacher

FORBEST ACADEMY is a high-tech educational complex headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Now we are looking for full-time English teachers and French teachers to join us.
K12/ESL Instructor:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, solid professional knowledge and relevant educational experience.
- Familiar with English teaching of BC curriculum, BC ELL program.
- Understanding of English literature in elementary and secondary school is preferred.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- Available schedule after school and during the weekend.
SSAT/SAT English Instructor:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, solid professional knowledge, and experience in English education.
- Excellent communication skills appropriate/relevant to test type and students.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Understand and be familiar with the topics by analyzing the SSAT/SAT past paper.
- Previous teaching experience and qualifications are considered assets.
- Tutor tailored SSAT/SAT courses based on the student level and needs.
- Develop SSAT/SAT Prep Materials if needed.
- Have a good team spirit.
- Available schedule after school and during the weekend.
English Literature and Writing Instructor:
- Instruct students on interpreting literature and assign books to read.
- Teach students about the structure and content of the English language, including proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on student essays/assignments/writing.
- Understanding of English literature in secondary school is preferred.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, listening and speaking.
- Available schedule after school and during the weekend.

Job Details:
- Job Types: Full-time.
- Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour.
- Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay.
- COVID-19 considerations: The interview will be held on Zoom.

Qualifications:
Ability to commute/relocate: Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
Experience: Teaching 2-3 year (preferred).- Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia (preferred)
