The Unit Program Control Team is responsible for delivering battery and power unit programs on time, within budget, and with compliance to key regulatory requirements. The Electrified Unit Supply Chain Program Manager will be responsible to lead a team of Unit Program Control buyers, who are responsible for key sourcing deliverables (timing, cost, regulatory requirements, etc.) for our critical EV Units (Battery Units and Power Units). This role will be integrated within the overall Program Control team and offers high visibility and significant opportunities for growth and development.
What You’ll Be Able to Do:
Drive on-time sourcing of key unit programs in Ford Model E.
Manage competitive cost delivery of key unit programs in Ford Model E.
Monitor and deliver USMCA compliance, EU7 regulations, and manage other key regulatory requests from a program perspective.
Lead Senior Supply Chain Manager Program Reviews on weekly basis. Keep team on track to deliver organized agenda materials, meeting agendas, and integration of special topics into meetings as needed.
Lead Global Director Program Reviews (GDPRs) on weekly basis. Keep team on track to deliver organized agenda materials, meeting agendas, and integration of special topics into meetings as needed.
Lead special requests (Desktop studies, localization studies, etc.) as needed from a program perspective.
Prioritize training and development by attending any key training sessions for Program Control.
Motivate buyer training and development through attendance at key training sessions and through creating knowledge sharing of best practices within larger team.
Build strong relationships within the various Supply Chain teams that Program Control interfaces with.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with Product Development, Finance, Planning, MP&L, and the various other organizations that Program Control regularly interfaces with.
The Minimum Requirements We Seek:
Bachelors Degree
5+ years of supply chain/commodity/program management experience
Our Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
8+ years of supply chain/program/commodity management experience in the Automotive industry
Strong communicator that can effectively transition from bottom-up details to concise, clear executive-level messaging.
Strategic and analytical thinking to develop effective and organized program reviews on weekly basis.
Ability to build relationships and trust across organizations to drive decisions and alignment.
Strong data & analytics understanding for synthesis of complex data into clear, understandable format.
Ability to interpret and translate organization needs into specific program actions and next steps.
Strong knowledge across complex sourcing processes.
Proactive and resourceful; comfortable with navigating ambiguity.
Flexible and adaptable attitude to changing priorities.
Collaborative leader and team player.
