Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor Intern
Openings: 2
Location: Bramalea Parts Distribution Centre
POSITION DUTIES:
Supports the direct supervision team for afternoon shift employees:
Assist with material flow duties and special assignments including new process implementation and operations analysis.
Record daily timekeeping/payroll data and other administrative needs.
Conduct daily communication meetings with employees.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Safety Conscious and Process disciplined
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Ability to deliver assignments with a value-add mind-set
Previous automotive, warehouse process or order fulfillment process experience in an asset.
Interest in the automotive and/or material planning and logistics Industry
Applicant must be available to work variable shifts during this assignment with short notice. This position is anticipated to be scheduled on steady afternoon-shift 3:30pm to 12:00pm.
Must be a current full-time post-secondary student, preferably in process engineering, business, or materials management studies
Candidates must be available May to August 2022
