Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Trade Account Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in the high-end residential market across the Upper South Island. This role is crucial for nurturing strong relationships with New Zealand’s leading builders, housing companies, and installers and requires a proactive approach to progressing and closing sales and customer management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Relationships: Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing clients and engage new clients to expand our market presence with Builders in the upper South Island.
• Project Management: Coordinate with specification consultants and oversee projects from specification through to order confirmation.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to builders and contractors.
• Reporting: Keep precise records of sales activities and provide insights and forecasts to the management team based on market dynamics and client feedback.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record in a similar role, preferably in the high-end residential market.
• Established network within the building and construction industry in Christchurch or the Upper South Island.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passionate about the building industry with a keen interest in timber products.
