Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering parts to internal customers. Ensures accuracy of all paperwork related to the job. Responsible for safety of crewmembers, fellow employees and the public when operating company vehicles and/or performing any company activity. Follow proper guidelines for use of all equipment needed for completing local moving and storage jobs. Ensures vehicle and equipment area are clean, safe and kept in working order.
Ships, receives packages, counts and routes material (may involve chemicals), completing associated paperwork and/or operating machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, etc. typically found in warehouse areas.
Daily pick-up and deliveries to customer locations within the lab
Daily shipping and receiving using FedX, UPS, or similar systems
Shipping small packages to freight size packages
Organizing and electronic filing of shipping documentation
Managing supplies and submitting orders
Partner with multiple service centers to track and expedite internal part transfers as needed
Monitor, reschedule, provide update on open work-orders
Operate with a sense of urgency for customer or operational requests
Working under the direction of Service Center Management, participate on weekly team calls, follow escalation path to escalate issues
Highly organized, proactive, strong multi-tasker
Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
Minimum Requirements:
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person status required.
A minimum of 1 year of material handling and/or customer service experience
Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Capable of heavy lifting (50+ lbs)
Business casual attire
Work productively in a team environment, show extreme care of equipment
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate excellent work ethic and multi-tasking skills
Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and committed to producing accurate and high-quality work
Able to work a flexible schedule with overtime as business needs dictate
Ability to consistently arrive in a timely manner
Preferred:
Customer Service Experience dealing with customer inquiries by phone
Prior experience data entry
Experience in Oracle, OpenUpTime or other CRM experience a plus
Shipping and receiving experience packing of equipment, coordinating/scheduling with FedEx and UPS World ship
