Fortune Settlement Solutions is growing and we are seeking individuals to join our team as a Research Assistant. Located in the heart of Miami Lakes, Fortune Settlement Solutions is a specialty finance company that provides liquidity options to recipients of structured settlements and annuity payments.

As a Research Assistant, you will be responsible for locating and updating leads in our database. Assisting our research and sales team with court document retrieval. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a capacity for online research and excellent attention to detail, and demonstrate an ability to solve problems by performing independent research as applicable. Must have a willingness to assist and a positive attitude.

General Duties

• Perform general research on prospective clients using public record databases, court dockets, and other publicly available information sources; contact sources via phone and email to confirm or prospect information as necessary.
• Analyze information and validate for accuracy.
• Apply a thorough understanding of business operations to analyze work in order to identify additional clients or opportunities for customer service.
• Follow policy and procedure in terms of gathering, formatting, and organizing information.
• Update our internal database to ensure accurate and timely information.
