Pay Range is $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Purpose of Position:
Acts as a centralized resource for processing Human Resource transactions. Process personnel actions, to include hires, terminations, transfers, personal information changes, disciplinary and performance related actions, respond to wage and employment verifications, receive and respond to subpoenas for personnel data, address unemployment claims, develop and execute reports, perform routine auditing to maintain data integrity, provide support to Human Resources Team Members on transactional processes, engage in troubleshooting data or system issues as necessary. Must possess an in-depth knowledge of company practices and policies and the ability to interpret data submissions for appropriate incorporation in the HRMS system.
This position has preliminary responsibility of maintaining the data integrity for the HRMS system. Thoroughness and accuracy are required, to minimize data entry errors that have the potential to impact Team Members and the Company.
Essential Job Functions:
Process personnel actions in HRMS System in a timely and accurate manner and maintain confidentiality at all times
Assist in maintaining the HRMS system (e.g. perform audits, process step increases, calculate retro pay amounts, maintain time accrual plans, and enroll Team Members in benefit plans, etc.)
Respond to employment verifications, unemployment claims and subpoenas
Develop and run reports as needed
Assist in various projects within the department:
Collection/Tracking of annual performance appraisals and enter salaried/clerical/wage proposal increases during review process.
Additional Functions:
Answer phones and perform some light word processing
Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
One-two years data entry experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to process accurate data entry for over 10,500 employees.
Must be able to utilize internal auditing tools (i.e. cross-map table, charts, location codes, supervisory codes, etc.) to ensure the integrity of data entry.
Detail oriented and have strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to type 40 wpm and 10 key by touch
Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within the organization and handle extremely confidential information
Ability to work overtime as needed
