Our Marketing Coordinator, manage Hotel social media channels, assists with and coordinates social media, executes effective community management of all social media platforms. Assists with the production and coordination of photo and video shoots. Creates effective social media reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Manage Hotel social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, including Restaurant & Bars channels, curating engaging content that showcases Brand DNA while increasing total audience size and engagement
Executes effective community management of all social media platforms
Leverages social media channels to amplify key messages and support organic search through strategic and creative communication
Embraces data-driven approach to social media strategy, using monitoring and reporting tools
Assists with and coordinates social media influencer visits. Build briefs to support incoming influencer visits ensuring expectations are aligned and the influencer understands the property and brand aesthetic
Utilizes available programs (Olapic/ Social Native, Sprout, etc.) to vet and integrate User Generated Content
Works closely with each department at the Hotel to identify and produce social media content opportunities
Ensures all content created for the Hotel meets brand guidelines and is in line with Hotel/Resort positioning
Monitors social media conversations relevant to the Hotel/Resort, luxury travel industry, and local market
Creates effective social media reports for internal and external stakeholders
Participates in departmental PR and marketing meetings
Assists in design of Hotel’s promotional materials including print, digital, advertising assets and other collateral
Assists with the production and coordination of photo and video shoots
Assists with identifying and executing local event participation and activations that reach the local neighborhood and surrounding communities
Acts as a brand ambassador to our Hotel and Four Seasons at all times, both in and out of the resort and on personal social media accounts
Create innovative social media campaigns programs that will increase awareness and positive perception of the hotel, its spa, culinary programs, services, and employees;
Maintain current image library and video footage to maximize media coverage;
Directly assist and perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing and PR Manager.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
College education required.
2 – 3 years in a similar position, social media management experience is an asset.
Previous social media marketing experience
Content creation ability may be tested during the recruitment process.
Manage a fast-paced environment in a positive and effective manner;
Experience with social media platforms, consumer engagement and strong awareness of the digital world.
Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
Photography and video skills
Knowledge of InDesign and production methods in graphic arts and collateral
Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment;
Demonstrate a very good team spirit
Have an excellent presentation and elocution, in Spanish and English
Maintain a professional appearance and behave in a mature manner and with integrity at all times, including outside the hotel while on business;
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment;
Be organized, meticulous and resourceful;
Demonstrate creativity and initiative;
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
