The upcoming Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo in Jalisco, Mexico rests on 3,000 acres of a protected natural reserve on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Most of its 157 rooms will boast exceptional panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, enveloped by the surrounding jungle and lush golf course.

Master Your Craft:

The Resort is seeking a highly motivated, entry-level marketer to become its new Marketing Coordinator as part of the Resort´s Marketing Department. This individual will support the Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager and Director of Public Relations and Communications to coordinate, support and report upon integrated marketing initiatives designed to elevate awareness and brand positioning of the Resort.

The Marketing Coordinator is a highly organized, technically savvy individual who will execute the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the Resort’s marketing and public relations team.

Be you

• Undergraduate degree in communications, business, marketing, advertising, journalism or hospitality required
• 1+ year of marketing experience
• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Passion for creating innovative and engaging social experiences
• Ability to be detail-oriented in a multi-tasking production environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Administrative support for the Director of Marketing and extended marketing team.
• Assist in coordination of all Resort print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, in-room collateral, etc.

• Assist with video and photo shoots at the Resort.
• Produce monthly and ad hoc reports for owners, corporate office and Director of Marketing.
• Assist with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, including general administration and assisting with site inspections.
• Assist with the development of all direct sales presentation material for travel industry, group sales, public relations, owner relations, etc.
• Conduct media and influencer property tours and develop itineraries, as needed.

• Utilize graphic design skills to create on-brand content, including multi-media materials and video; guest-facing print materials such as concierge newsletters, brochures, in-room dining menus, check-stuffers, etc.; and print and digital advertisements.
• Assist with guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, as needed, including assisting with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections.
• Perform various office administration responsibilities including contract development, press kit preparation, file organization and email.
• Meet all Four Seasons telephone standards, handling client inquiries and basic proposals as needed. .
