We now have an opportunity for a Warehouse Trainer on a full time, permanent basis at our Aylesford depot
Shift: Monday to Friday (06:00 to 16:00)
Salary: £36,551
Job Purpose for Warehouse Trainer:
To provide professional training in the use of various types of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE), giving up to date instruction on the safe and correct operating techniques for the equipment, control the maintenance and compliance of the MHE, write and introduce Safe Systems of Work relevant to the Warehouse environment.
To be flexible in their approach to their duties and to carry out other duties as and when required

RTITB Qualified trainer
Educated to GCSE level
Must hold a full Driving licence

Experience Required:
Essential
Previous experience of warehouse training
Minimum 2 years experience of working as MHE trainer
Experience of creating training plans
Experience of undertaking administration activities
Experience of delivering training in a classroom environment
Experience of creating training guidelines
Desirable
Writing Safe Systems Of Work and Risk Assessments
Experienced in MHE fleet management
Knowledge Required:
Essential
Full understanding of working to Safety guidelines and H&S legalities
Knowledge of operational methods and procedures relating to the logistics industry
Desirable
Understanding of FMCG environment
Skills/Competencies Required:
Able to work to challenging deadlines in a pressurised environment
Relationship building skills
Planning and organisational skills
Adaptable and flexible in approach to work
Good written and excellent verbal communication skills
