About The Role

Work with experienced healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team to provide patient centred, evidence based and culturally safe care between the hours of 8am – 8pm. Work broadly across both urgent care and also general practice nursing duties, giving you a range of skills to learn and expand on. This privately owned organisation seeks new and innovative ways to provide healthcare and improve the patient experience. What You Have To Do

• Complete accurate nursing assessments and provide interventions
• Perform primary/ urgent care duties e.g. immunisations, smear taking, health checks, wound management, plastering, triaging and more
• Support and educate patients and families to promote wellbeing
• Provide information to patients to make informed treatment decisions
• Maintain timely, accurate patient documentation
• Manage emergency situations and safety of visitors/ staff members

Skills And Experience

• NZ registered nurse with a current annual practicing certificate
• Primary or urgent care experience would be ideal but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure with resilience and tenacity
• Team player committed to providing excellent service
• A genuine passion to work within primary care and deliver a high level of care to your patients
