About The Role

Work with experienced healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team to provide patient centred, evidence based and culturally safe care. This privately owned organisation seeks new and innovative ways to provide healthcare and improve the patient experience. Ongoing training and career development opportunities to expand your career are on offer.

• Options to work between the hours of 8am – 8am, or 24/7 shifts
• Complete accurate nursing assessments and provide interventions
• Perform primary/ urgent care duties e.g. immunisations, smear taking, health checks, wound management, plastering
• Support and educate patients and families to promote wellbeing
• Provide information to patients to make informed treatment decisions
• Maintain timely, accurate patient documentation
• Manage emergency situations and safety of visitors/ staff members

Skills And Experience

• NZ registered nurse with a current annual practicing certificate
• Primary or urgent care experience would be ideal but not essential
• Authorised vaccinator/ smear taker is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure with resilience and tenacity
• Team player committed to providing excellent service
