This urgent care clinic and family doctors play a vital role in supporting the local community in Palmerston North, catering to a diverse patient base from various backgrounds.

You will be working in a busy clinic, where no two days are the same. In this hands-on role, you will ensure efficient and quality care to patients across a variety of cultures and ages, who can present with a variety of medical or accident issues. You will need to be available to work across a 7-day roster between 8 am – 8 pm.

What You Need To Have

• Resilience, tenacity and can-do attitude
• Current Registration with NZ Nursing Council
• Annual Practicing certificate & Indemnity Insurance
• Ability to multi-task and strong organisational skills
• Vaccinator and Smear taking would be an advantage
• Min 1 years experience working as a RN in New Zealand

What You Need To Do

• Ensuring proper Triage and care of patients
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, timely and complies with guidelines
• Complete Nursing interventions to a skilled and competent level
• Build rapport with patients and their families/whanau
• Provide appropriate information to patients to enable them to make informed decisions about their treatment
