Frontline Recruitment Group Looking for Registered Nurse – Mental Health at Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand Full Time

About The Role

This company is making a difference, providing community-based mental health, addiction and wellbeing services throughout Aotearoa. Providing an acute alternative to hospital-based setting, offering crisis respite service in a 7 bed homestead in Christchurch. Adult residents, RN not required to provide personal cares.

Solo RN on shift with non-clinical staff. Minimal interaction with other RNs. Connect with RN’s at handovers. Two Roles available.

Role 1: Part Time 32hrs per week.

• Days to be worked: Wed – Sat PM shift 3:00PM – 11:30PM

Role 2: Part Time 24 hrs per fortnight,

• Week 1 Saturday AM 7:00AM-3:30PM
• Week 2 Friday & Saturday AM 7:00AM- 3:30PM

What You Have To Do

• Provide a safe, nurturing space
• Support, educate and guide the care team
• Clinical oversight of client medication, support plans, risk management and goal setting.
• Ensure service excellence and clinical standards are maintained.
• Collaboration and clinical liaison with service partners and key stakeholders.
• Provide culturally competent care

What You Have To Have

• The right to work in NZ and /or hold a current Working Visa
• Registered Nurse with a current NZ APC
• Previous mental health nursing experience is preferred but not essential
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent time management
• A current full New Zealand Driver’s Licence
