About The Role

Join one of New Zealand’s largest primary care providers with multiple clinics across the country. Work alongside a large, multidisciplinary team providing holistic healthcare to patients. Provide a high standard of clinical care that is patient centred, evidence based and culturally safe. Ongoing training, development and opportunities to expand your career on offer. Work within and learn from the MDT, such as Nurse practitioners and specialised urgent care doctors and GPS.

What You Have To Do

• Make accurate nursing assessments and provide interventions
• Deliver ongoing care e.g wound management, dressings, vaccinations, plastering, urgent care situations
• Provide support and education to patients and families
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential documentation
• Manage emergency situations and safety of visitors/ staff members
• 24/7 rotational/fixed shifts across AMs/PMs and nights

Skills And Experience

• Unfortunately not open to applications from CAP graduate nurses
• NZ Registered Nurse with a current APC
• Previous primary care or acute/urgent care is required
• Be flexible to work across a variety of shifts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi with a commitment to biculturalism
• Ability to work autonomously and in a cohesive team
