Job description:

The Challenge

Reporting to the Engineering Inventory Manager you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that goods received into the stores, or sent out, are in good condition.
• To check that the stores correspond with the correct paperwork to ensure accurate stocks/records are held and goods issued are processed on a right first-time basis.
• Working with a variety of internal stakeholders including warehouse team members, production staff, maintenance staff, wider supply chain team and external logistics/transport teams to ensure an effective and efficient daily operation.
• Liaise with our suppliers and generate replenishment PO’s when required
• Ensuring that purchases are processed through the correct approval process.

Working hours?

Monday to Friday 11am to 7.30pm (to complete the initial training, we are looking for the successful candidate to work (7am to 3.30pm at the beginning)

To enable you to hit the ground running, we’re looking for someone who brings:

• A good understanding of Microsoft Office in particular Excel and Outlook
• Experience with SAP would be highly desirable – though training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills are essential
• Previous experience in warehousing or inventory
• A clear communicator – this role will have you working with several stakeholders such as Engineering and Inwards Goods
• Being based in Engineering we do have some heavy items that will require some lifting so, ideally looking for someone physically fit
• A positive attitude who takes pride in completing repetitive tasks to time as a team, as well as maintaining a clean organized work area
• Available and able to start in the position at the start of January 2023
