Description/Job Summary

This position is responsible for the operation and general maintenance of all computer equipment as

well as all communication equipment required to maintain sound operational functionality in the

Distribution Center. Also assists in general equipment usage instruction and training.

Specific Responsibilities

Maintain computers and ensure they are in working order. Resolve programming problems, lock-ups, password problems and electrical power outages. Download program changes from corporate.

Performs preventive maintenance on computer equipment throughout the

facility. Replaces or repairs broken equipment as needed and may call for service to resolve larger problems.

Print and distribute various information and reports throughout the day/shift.

Perform special procedures for projects (e.g. physical inventory). Performs physical tasks associated with projects such as pulling cable. Certain tasks may require the ability to operate scissor lifts and forklifts. Perform other duties as requested.

Required Experience

3-6 months of related work experience

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Solid understanding and knowledge of PC hardware and software.

Requires the ability to use some precision instruments.

LIFTING REQUIREMENTS

MEDIUM WORK: Lifting up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing

up to 25 lbs.
