Fundamental Hospitality is looking to hire an experienced Director of Marketing to join our Head Office in Dubai.
JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION: The Director of Marketing at Fundamental Hospitality is pivotal in steering the company’s global growth across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. This role is responsible for leading a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with market positioning to amplify brand exposure and drive business success. In addition to overseeing the marketing team, the Director collaborates closely with operational leaders to ensure effective, unified marketing messages across all channels. At the core of this role is the focus on enhancing guest experience and ensuring the company remains at the cutting edge of innovative marketing, thus supporting our ambitious growth goals.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Brand Development
Lead and implement the marketing strategy, including existing operations and new openings.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to execute aligned marketing initiatives.
Develop and manage a marketing budget for optimal ROI.
Oversee people and resource planning, and assign goals and responsibilities to the marketing team.
Consumer Engagement & Local Initiatives
Develop marketing initiatives aimed at guest frequency and repeat business.
Establish and maintain positive media relations, and manage relationships with various PR agencies in multiple markets.
Coordinate and manage projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring clear direction.
Digital & Content Marketing
Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including social media, email, and website marketing.
Lead the development of effective marketing materials, including content and creative assets.
Supervise the digital and creative teams to ensure responsibilities are undertaken to company standards.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and initiatives.
Review weekly sales reports and identify trends to maximise revenue, supporting operations with growth strategies.
Internal Collaboration & Communication
Schedule feedback meetings with direct reports and ensure tasks are timeline-driven.
Organise regular meetings with the sales, marketing, and restaurant management teams to discuss challenges and establish growth strategies.
Participate actively in strategy and leadership meetings.
Compliance & Industry Involvement
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Be a member of relevant industry-related associations and attend functions as necessary.
Partnerships & Alliances
Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies.
Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic partners to promote our brand and drive awareness and revenue.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any Business-related areas.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Marketing.
Relevant experience in hospitality sector, service industry and luxury segments.
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and sales skills.
Strong oral & written communication skills in English.
Ability to manage multiple projects, divisions and multiple outlets.
