JOB SUMMARY:

– THIS POSITION IS ON SITE IN SIOUX FALLS, SD –

Grow with our family as a Content Creator/Copywriter at Furniture Mart USA in Sioux Falls, SD! This position plays an integral role in ensuring customers have the information they need about products, promotions, and company initiatives, on our ecommerce websites. This position collaborates with internal departments on various efforts to provide content and copy support. Assets produced by the Content Creator/Copywriter will be featured in a wide range of channels and formats. This role will support the overall content functions of Furniture Mart USA, and its associated brands.

• Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)
• Develop rich content, across owned platforms/websites, to inform and inspire consumers with the latest industry trends and company offerings
• Produce relevant content for digital assets, in the form of product descriptions, meta titles and tags, blog articles, and landing page copy for both external and internal audiences
• Support efforts to optimize website pages through keyword research and best practices
• Utilize latest tools to analyze and develop SEO/SEM relevant copy
• Optimize existing content across channels and communications to increase effectiveness
• Revise, edit, and proofread content on an ongoing basis
• Must excel in correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar
• Work with internal marketing team, other departments, and external suppliers to drive site improvements and successfully execute ecommerce and marketing initiatives

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
• Upon job offer, must be able to pass a background check prior to starting employment
• Familiarity with website design as it relates to a retail brand
• Onsite position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and have excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints
• Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of basic SEO & SEM
• Must be able to work in a collaborative and creative work environment
