ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Job Position: Administrative Services Coordinator
Reports to: Futures Inc. Senior VP
Qualifications:
1. Related employment experience in an administrative setting.
2. High School Diploma or higher
3. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
4. Proficient in planning, organizing, and prioritizing assignments.
5. Ability to meet firm deadlines.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Outstanding oral and written communication skills
8. Flexibility and a positive attitude.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Minimal lifting of office equipment or supplies routinely required. Must be able to communicate clearly and possess the ability to meet multiple job demands in a busy environment.
Schedule: Part time approximately 20 hours a week, flexible hours
Job Location: 902 S. Quaker Lane West Hartford, CT
Pay Range: $20-$25/hour
Job responsibilities may include:
· Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
· Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings, including annual meetings, board meetings, Vistage meetings, and coordinates catering when necessary
· Prepares communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
· Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents
· Create and maintain filing systems both electronic and physical when needed
· Writes and sends thank you letters
· Runs company errands when necessary
· Must have great organizational skills – passion for the nonprofit – work we do; mission
· Maintain confidentiality
· Get quotes on building projects
· Good writing and verbal skills
· Ability to search for grants –
