FWD Hiring For Full Stack Developer (1-year Contract) at Singapore Full Time

PURPOSE

Implement and deliver API based applications development with great quality and according to business requirement.

Work closely with frontend, workflow engine, ECM and LifeAsia, FWD Group IT Services project team in delivering projects that drive best of class user experience for D2C & IFA user experience.

Keep up with latest frontend technologies, research and constant feedback to BAU tech lead new technologies recommendation as to improvement in operation efficient, system performance and frontend applications robustness.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Gather business requirement and implement changes according to project technical design and coding standard to ensure high quality of deliverables

• Assist team leader to produce detail system design and documentation such as flow chart, database schema and API details documentation

• Strong attention to details and have adequate understanding on frontend UX behaviour in order to design and implement corresponding API to support business processes

• Able to understand ReachJs & equivalent frameworks to design and enhance front end applications

• Maintain Wordpress content management system

• Follow through and keep track of project task assigned by team leader from development, SIT, UAT and Preprod to production deployment

• Work closely with team leader in debugging, source code management, source code scanning and penetration vulnerability resolution

• Provide comprehensive and clear release note to team leader for smooth non-production and production deployment

• Support post-production deployment system monitoring and leverage on application performance monitoring tool (dynatrace) to detect any system mishaps

• Identify opportunities for research and development to continuous improvement of IS micro-ecosystem

• Ensure deliverables comply with TRM SDLC guideline

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in IT related discipline

• Strong technical with hands on frontend technology implementation experience with proven track records (more than 8 years of hands-on implementation experience)

• Key project team in end-to-end project delivery (completed 2 – 4 medium to large projects with project team size 6 – 10 team members)

• Experience in details system and database design

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

• Solid hands-on coding skill and vast experience in java and java frameworks such as Java, SpringBoot, JBOSS and Restful API

• Solid experience in ReactJs and similar JS Frameworks

• Sound knowledge in AWS. Preferably AWS practitioner

• Good knowledge of technical detail design and documentation

• Adequate interpersonal skills to communicate with team member as well as cross functions to have better understanding of processes and requirement 

• Meticulous, committed

• Able to work under extreme pressure and tight timeline

• A good team player to able to collaborate effectively

• Solid experience in project delivery (minimally 6 to 10 big scale projects)

• Good experience in level 2 and 3 production support

• Experience in coding standard and comprehends defined source code management workflow (git/ bitbucket/ AWS codecommit) to ensure release pipeline is efficient and stable

• Adequate security knowledge in cyber security aspect such as source code and penetration test scanning vulnerability resolution
