Area Manager – Big Box Retailer – Leinster Region

Our Client a Leading Homeware Brand is looking to recruit an experienced Area Manager to oversee the Retail Operation of Store Manager for their flagship store in Ashbourne stores in the Leinster Region

Operating in Ireland for the last 40 years this company has expanded and developed over that time and now employ over 300 people. They offer a large variety of products including Seasonal, DIY, Leisure, Household, Hardware, Kitchenware, Electrical, Furniture, Gift & Home, Health & Beauty, Confectionery, Toys and Stationery.

The Ideal Candidate will be an accomplished Retail Manager with a minimum of 3 years previous retail area management experience in a similar large format / Big Box store. They will be extremely customer service orientated with excellent people management skills

As Area Manager, you are responsible for the operational and strategic planning of the retail estate. To succeed in this role you will need to be an exceptional planner, with strong organisational skills. You will be able to work under pressure, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
Strong people and leadership skills are a must to develop and support the team. You will have the ability to problem solve, with a great eye for detail with good business acumen and commercial awareness. As part of the Senior Management Team you will need to build relationships with different business partners and be the link between your stores and the support office.
