Galen College of Nursing is looking for an Online Admissions Representative to serve as the main point of contact and provide guidance for students to facilitate the enrollment consistent with the College’s mission.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains communication with prospective online student inquiries via phone calls, emails, text, and document follow-up in Recruit and Colleague.
• Follow-up with all prospective students who have received an admissions appointment through the enrollment process on a weekly basis to assist with any student-related issues.
• Guide students through the online campus enrollment process and ensure all documentation (transcripts, financial aid, RN license, etc.) is received, as required.
• Consult with Registrar and Financial Aid staff to assist students, as needed.
• Notify students of acceptance into the program, and orient students to College policies, course registration and the online learning environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment at Galen using solutions-based consultative engagements.
• Maintain an inquiry database and reports in Recruit and Colleague to provide reporting and projections regarding lead flow and development, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Experience: Demonstrated prior experience in enrollment of students in a college or academic

setting preferred but not required. Prior experience with Recruit and Colleague preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills.

Special Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral, and technical skills. Strong phone presence and excellent customer services skills required.
• Entrepreneurial attitude to meet performance goals.
• Ability to work independently, as well as with faculty, staff and administration.
• Proven leadership ability.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work some evening and weekends.
