An Ophthalmic Assistant contributes to the assessment, planning and delivery of eye care. Working under the direction of an ophthalmologist, the Ophthalmic Assistant provides care to the patient undergoing treatment within our clinical and diagnostic testing areas. They work independently within his/her scope of practice and collaborate with other members of our health care team.
