We are looking for a Graphic Designer with proven work experience in digital media and web design to join our team! Reporting directly to the Director, Creative – you will be responsible for creating visually engaging and innovative digital designs for marketing, product, and sales efforts. By working closely with the marketing team, you will translate marketing and brand strategies into comps that render successfully in both print and digital formats.
As a self-motivated and enthusiastic creative professional, you possess impeccable production skills in illustration, layout, typography, photography, and attention to detail. Organized and efficient, you are comfortable developing visual concepts on your own, as well as working cross-functionally with various stakeholders to bring their design direction to life. You like to keep on top of current visual and design trends, and look to deploy these ideas in a fresh and exciting way to strengthen the company’s brand!
The Role:
Create engaging and effective visual design solutions for both digital and print formats.
Utilize current industry design standards and best practices to deliver innovative design solutions.
Generate multiple visual design concepts that meet requirements, clearly articulate the relative merits of each concept, and make considered recommendations for which would best meet both user experience and business needs.
Create professional deliverables, including but not limited to: PowerPoint presentations, infographics, email layouts, social media content, sales collateral, etc.
Create high volume marketing assets meeting all production ready requirements.
Help develop and improve production processes and increase efficiencies.
Collaborate with other designers, writers, and Consumer Engagement Managers.
Able to function independently and in a team environment with solid collaboration skills.
Participate in discussions regarding prospect and customer experience and design goals.
The Details:
Ability to work closely with internal partners, editorial teams and designers
Precise attention to detail, typography and layout, with ability to think systematically
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and marketing specialists
Work within brand standards to ensure a consistent, integrated brand look and feel
Possessing a high level of sophistication in usage of image, typography and overall aesthetic
Ability to layout and apply the same design to multiple applications and formats
Well-organized, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined solutions efficiently
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with flexibility to change focus quickly
The Compulsories:
A minimum of 5+ years experience working as a graphic designer
Basic understanding of how HTML/CSS emails are built
Digitally-centered, with experience in print production for point of sale collateral, advertising, brochures, and signage
Autonomous self-starting characteristics with excellent time management skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD
The Team:
You will report directly to the Creative Director. You will work closely with our Creative Services, Consumer Engagement, and Account Management teams.
