What You Will Do:

• Negotiate competitive rates with carriers based off current market rates.
• Monitor progress of shipments daily to ensure coverage, on-time performance and addressing any mid-transit issues.
• Collaborate with our Customer Sales team to find the best transportation option for our customers.
• Communicate load statuses, issues, and concerns to Customer Sales Reps.
• Follow safety procedures to make sure you are doing business with qualified carriers.

Qualifications:

• Industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be willing to work outside of the 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri business hours when the job requires it.
• Need to be deadline and detail oriented.
• Must be organized and excel at multitasking.
• Know how to build relationships with individuals over the phone.
