We have a fantastic career opportunity for a Software Engineer to become a central part of our Melbourne team.

What you’ll be doing:

Working in a close-knit agile team environment, you’ll provide technical expertise to the project team as we continue our digital transformation and improve existing products.

• Build your DevOps skillset and learn the AWS world of CI/CD
• Analyse, design and develop new features for our clients using Java/Spring
• Work with a broad team on problem resolution, improvements and modifications to our software
• Perform design and code walkthroughs
• Undertake code reviews

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• At least 3 years of development experience in Java/Spring, REST API, and Hibernate
• At least 1 year’s development experience in the following tools:
  • Containerization technology, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automation tools such as Jenkins, Git
  • Bash/PowerShell scripting
• 3+ years of development experience with SQL, XML
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility to work as a support person on the roaster
• The right to live and work in Australia

We’d also love it if you have:

• Experience with AWS
• Maven and Jira experience
• Exposure to Web Technologies
