Job Family: Instructional Development
The Instructional Developer will design and develop curriculum and course materials for participants and facilitators including instruction, exercises, evaluations, activities, job aids and all other required materials, in accordance with business requirements. Interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content. Evaluates materials during development for instructional alignment and appropriate styles and specifications.
Job Description:
Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Analyze employee learning needs and partnering with subject matter experts and business management to provide input for course content.
Outline the concept for course or curriculum, defining the needs for the course, the course medium, content delivery, assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches.
Develop learning solution documentation (e.g., storyboards, project schedules, video scripts, job aids, and courseware).
Develop and monitor metrics for evaluating training and development effectiveness.
Experience with instructional design methodologies.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Also possesses strong interpersonal and teaching skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
*Must have the ability to obtain a Level 5 public trust clearance with background investigation
