Lead Enterprise Architect

Our work depends on a Lead Enterprise Architect joining our team to support US Army activities at Mobile, AL.
At GDIT, we foster a people-centric environment. As a Lead Enterprise Architect supporting the US Army, you will be trusted with leading the development of the program’s Dynamics 365 application, to include being responsible for all aspects of the development and maintenance of the assigned enterprise architecture project and takes project from planning through final delivery.
To be successful in this position you need to be collaborative and willing to work within a team. While you will need to be a self-starter completing tasks on your own, working together is critical in this role. You will be interfacing with the client and senior staff. Therefore, you should be articulate in your communications because your opinion matters. You will need to explain technical intricacies in a way that is easily understood.
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services
Manage the implementation of Dynamics 365, be experienced with forms design, workflow implementation and technical solution development in the Dynamics 365 application.
Leads a group of engineers, architects, and analysts and ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews enterprise architecture deliverables
Be familiar with the Microsoft common data services entities in Dynamics 365 and understand Dynamics 365 as a source for dashboards and PowerBi Analytics.
Gather the necessary requirements from agency stakeholders that will enable the design, development, and management of data on Dynamics 365.
Provides technical and analytical guidance to software development team
Directs and participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
Possesses extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with the DoDAF, the Business Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Transition Plan, Service Oriented Architecture, and the Business Mission Area Federation Strategy and Roadmap.
Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
Defines project scope and objectives and develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Document and demonstratesolutions by developingdocumentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Facilitate daily standup meetings
Act as expert in User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI)
Protect the team from over-committing and scope creep. Aid in estimation and sub-task creation
Work as an administrator of Azure DevOps
Aids the team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Years of relevant experience:
Minimum 6 years software development experience (ERP/CRM/Dynamics 365)
Minimum 3 years of experience leading development teams.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Agile/SCRUM software development methods

Certification Requirements:
Must meet DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II requirements prior to start of work, including IA Baseline and computing environment certifications (Example: MB 200-Microsoft Dynamics 365)
Must have an active Security + CE certification

Work Location:
Mobile, AL (Must be able to work on site a minimum of 50%)
7:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday – may require occasional shift in work schedule to cover tasking.
