The Master Scheduler Planner is able to independently manage, integrate, and provide visibility of program element schedules and major product deliverables within the program IMS. They have advanced scheduling expertise with the ability to identify time frames for key project milestones, ensure alignment of sub tier activities for overall project visibility, tracking and completion. They use end-date scheduling techniques and Critical Path Methods (CPM). They participate in the direction and management of complex project schedules requiring an interface with multi divisional activities, independently identifying project resource requirements, and integrating the activities into a single collective overall project plan.
The Master Scheduler Planner must use DCMA 14 Point assessment approach to analyze the schedule, maintain compliance, provide consistency between customer and contractor, provide a baseline for tracking schedule improvement over time, and employ proven metrics that have been successfully implemented across the industry.
On programs with EIA-748 EVMS requirements, the Master Scheduler Planner will coordinate the preparation of Contract Budget Allocations, process Baseline Change Requests and maintain Program logs (e.g., budget authorization, baseline change request). Participate in the development of the WBS, OBS, and RAM documentation, maintenance and configuration control. They will provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly oversight of schedule and budget integration and performance analysis earned value to the program manager.
They have experience working with Sub-contractors with flow down requirements coordinating their information is received on schedule and flows into GDIT’s EVM system appropriately.
HOW THE MASTER SCHEDULER PLANNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
They will be involved in the documentation, coordination, validation, approval, reporting, and configuration control of schedule and cost baselines.
Afford the development, coordination, commitment, validation, and approval of all schedule and budget baseline revisions within and across all functions to ensure support of all contractual requirements.
Provide assessment of impacts of proposed revisions to the Program Schedules and Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB). This person independently performs Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis and briefs results to leadership and clients.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience : 10+ years of professional experience implementing and utilizing industry scheduling best practices and procedures in the federal government
Technical skills : They must have exceptional expertise working with MS Project Web Access (MS Project On-line), MS Project Server, or MS Project Professional.
US Citizenship is required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
PMI certified PMP and PMI-SP highly desirable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
