Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst to join the Business Services and Products team as part of Supply Chain. This Associate will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives. This team’s main responsibility is Services requests; including but not limited to business development and proposal, professional services, and international support.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Purchasing for both indirect and direct products and services.

• Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.

• Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution

• Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.

• Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.

• Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience

• Minimum 2 years of Government Procurement/FAR regulated supply chain experience

• Contractual experience, including pricing, and key terms and conditions negotiations

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.

• Experience researching, analyzing, compiling, and assessing business and financial data.

• Experience in a Fortune 500 company and Government contractor preferred

• Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.

• Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.
