GDIT is seeking a Program Sr Director for a $100M+ digital engineering design, development, testing, fielding and sustainment effort for an upcoming US Air Force Program in support of the next generation of the US Strategic Deterrent Force. The Program Sr Director will be responsible for day-to-day program execution management and direct customer interface for cost, schedule, and technical performance aspects of the program. The Program Sr Director will oversee a staff of over 50 personnel and be directly responsible for a team of managers leading the program management office; Transition team; Operations team; Quality team; Security & Nuclear Surety team; and engineering/software development solution teams. In this role the candidate will be responsible for organic program growth and leveraging internal GDIT capabilities to support program objectives.

To qualify, the candidate must meet these basic qualifications:

• Profit and Loss management experience of $100M+ per year

• Experience leading large, highly technical, multi-functional engineering teams (50+)

• Experience managing programs over $100M per year with EVMS requirements, and successful experience with Integrated Baseline Reviews

• Experience leading and staffing large programs, and implementing steps to enhance retention, minimizing staff turnover

• Extensive experience with Risk Management techniques and processes

• Demonstrated experience with implementing ITIL standards

• Experience in executing engineering work in support of a $1B+ capture for the program

• Current PgMP or PMP certification

• Current Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SCIBA/BS, 15+ or more years of experience in USAF/DoD acquisition and program management

Desirable qualifications include:

• Experience with USAF ICBM programs and mission area.

• Familiarity with Nuclear Surety

• Familiarity with cloud-based information technology solutions

• Experiencing managing distributed teams of Software Developers, engineers and other subject matter experts using virtual collaboration tools

• Experience with Six Sigma
