GDIT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst w/ Oracle Applications experience to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Support Services for their Corporate Business Systems (CBSOM).
Services on this single award BPA with a Period of Performance through early 2028 will be performed at the DOE office located at 20300 Century Boulevard, Germantown, MD, 20874. (Currently remote due to COVID-19).
In this role, a typical day will include:
Collaborates with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
Research, reviews, and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTMs)
Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
Develops and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted
Perform QA testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met, and the resulting user experience is as intended
Participate in and support user acceptance testing and the deployment of the solution to production
Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary
Possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare and conduct presentations and prepare training material as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Comp. Science or Business Administration , with 8 years of relevant experience. Without a degree 9-11 years of relevant experience is required. Two thirds of the experience need to be in consulting on Oracle applications. Experience managing Oracle and Tableau implementations is preferred
Leads process modeling and translates requirements into design
Offers advice on process improvements and technical solutions
Applies broad knowledge to Identify and resolve core problems
Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time
Demonstrated ability to work with system owners, business owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system
Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
Experience in driving continuous improvement of business processes and technical operations
Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
Previous Department of Energy experience
ITIL v3 or v4 certification
Experience with ServiceNow for incident management, problem management, and service request management
Oracle Application Express, OBIEE and Tableau certifications

The likely salary range for this position is $89,600 – $134,400, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
