Our work depends on a Senior Financial Analyst joining our team to oversee and maintain financial planning, reporting, and analysis for contracts supporting the National Institute of Health (NIH).

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting NIH programs, you will be trusted to perform complex tasks in various financial functions with an emphasis is budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.

Job Description Summary:

• Review and understand contract terms, and contribute effectively to the job setup and closeout processes

• Coordinate with Contract Admin and Program Manager to monitor cost, identify related risk and recommend mitigation strategies

• Provide data and financial analysis in support of external customer requirements, Group/Corporate data calls and audit requests

• Vendor management, including tracking of funding, review subcontractor timesheets and resolve payment issues and reconciliation

• Provide valuable input to monthly and quarterly internal reports and analyses

• Monthly forecast updates and month-end variance analysis

• Focus on meaningful and material data points in Project Review meetings and other data presentations that shed light on execution quality and improvement opportunities

• Prepare pricing support to programs as required

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Superb Excel skills to include pivot table abilities, data validation, and financial modeling

• Government contracts experience supporting finance or program side

• Experience with various contract types (T&M, Firm Fixed Price)

• Willingness to work in a high-pressure and complex environment

• Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of related experience

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Oracle

• Experience with FAR
