The US Postal Service must provide the above service to Postal customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Candidates may be required to carry a phone and be on call. This individual will be expected to work independently or semi-independently with a minimum of guidance or direction.

• Study, analyze and evaluate Business Requirements for measuring Testing coverage and level of efforts (LOE).

• Define Testing Scenarios, Identify and prepare Test Data and translate Business Requirements into detailed test cases.

• Conduct Test Scenarios and Test Cases walkthrough with I.T. project and Business team for reviews/approvals.

• Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation.

• Create detail test scripts to execute Functional, System Integration Testing and Load/Performance Testing in a strict timeline.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and a liaison between I.T. and Business team on testing status/questions/concerns.

• Work with Development team for timely and impactful resolution of defects and their reporting.

• Create and publish Testing Metrics such as Requirement Traceability Metric (RTM), Daily Defect Report and Test Summary Report.

• Utilizing Oracle SQL Developer, SQL, UNIX, Informatica, WinSCP, MQ Edit, HP ALM, HP Load Runner, VersionOne, SharePoint and utilities with proven support of testing compound and large scale projects in a fast paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have proven history of manual testing (Minimum of 2 years exp)

• Dev Ops & SDLC experience

• Front end & Backend testing (Minimum of 4 years exp)

• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

• Experience with Rational Analysis and logical thinking

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting

Required Applications:

• SOAP UI or POSTMAN (for backend webservice testing)

• Github (not necessary, but would be a plus)

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
