Our team aims to be leader in Microsoft technology expertise. We are seeking someone who will be willing to commit to a Software Development Life Cycle for our current and future projects. This will include not just the ability to code, but also to design software properly, ensure that it is testable and debuggable, and that it is documented accurately.

We need someone who will fulfill senior level critical services for the PopMedNet project of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and for the Think Cultural Health project of the Organization of Minority Health. The desired individual will be a Microsoft technology expert who will be the chief architect and senior developer for the aforementioned projects.

The responsibilities are:

• Applies extensive experience of Agile methodology using Jira and Azure DevOps and provides guidance to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Assist customer with analyzing user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs in the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., IIS, SQL Server, Azure).

• Applies advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, Entity Framework, Typescript) to architect the software and provide guidance to other programmers on their implementation.

• Applies advanced expertise of Azure DevOps to continuously improve our existing CICD workflow.

• Use expertise in MS Test and Azure DevOps to continuously refine our regression tests.

• Use in-depth knowledge of Microsoft product lifecycles to provides guidance for software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs.

• Provides advanced knowledge and guidance on the software or system process for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates.

• Serve as a mentor to less experienced programmers.

• May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)

The requirements are:

• Extensive experience of Agile methodology using Jira and Confluence.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., IIS, SQL Server, Azure).

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft development technology stack (e.g., .NET, Entity Framework, Typescript).

• Extensive expertise of Azure DevOps and CICD concepts.

• Knowledge of PopMedNet and ThinkCulturalHealth

Skills:

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 10+ years of experience
