At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Subcontracts Manager supporting the Army Sector, you will be trusted to manage and provide oversight to a five-person subcontracts team, which includes managing all aspects of subcontract requirements. In this role, a typical day will include:
Subject matter expert in subcontract proposal requirements, process, and responsibilities
Lead in management of assigned NDAs, TAs subcontracts, purchase orders, and other related agreements
Actively participates in the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, reviewing and interpreting government solicitations requirements, and coordinating communications and status to senior leadership
Compliance monitoring of all subcontract activities, including developing and applying methodology for identifying and reporting any fraud or misrepresentation
Help ensure that Subcontracts operates ethically and in strict compliance with government procurement regulations and laws
Maintains current knowledge of relevant Subcontract procedures and practices
Reviews requests for proposals and prepares proposals with junior level staff
Interface with senior leadership and staff along with operational managers, and provide subcontract advice and guidance to promote the advancement of the subcontract discipline
Participates in the review and coordination of approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of all subcontract documents
Prepares status reports and briefs senior leadership on issues or problems
Participates in special projects as required and/or other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related business discipline with 5 years of Subcontracts/Procurement experience.
In lieu of degree, 9+ years of experience in subcontracts/procurement leadership needed.
Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and SharePoint.
Must be detail oriented, possess effective communication and writing skills, and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Must be comfortable working remotely from a home office in either a hybrid or fully remote fashion.
Ability to operate and negotiate independently.
Security clearance level: None
Problem solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFARS, TINA and CAS.
CPSR Audit experience + Comprehensive knowledge of Price Analysis techniques.
