Our work depends on a Systems Engineer joining our team to support the CDC activities at Atlanta, GA. This job can be supported remotely

At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Systems Engineer supporting the CDC, you will be trusted to work on Agile Software Development and systems modernization . In this role, a typical day will include:

• Engineering system architecture for new or existing computer systems including web-based and mobile applications.

• System and application development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing

• User-centric design practices, user experience design, and section 508 compliance.

• Cloud deployment, and modernization

• Creating documentation for processes and procedures related to the projects

• Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Maintaining current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Social Science.

• 9 Years of relevant experience to include developing and managing cloud-based infrastructure, supporting the operations and configuration of Azure App Services and Azure SQL Services

• Ability to pass a government security investigation for Public Trust
