As a Technical Analyst, you will support the deployment, management, and extension of knowledge management programs within the organization. You will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, or instructions. Explain technical ideas in simple language. Work with customers to translate their functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
You will utilize your experience with business process analysis to draw inferences from process details and link these inferences to organizational and departmental goals. You will meet with key stakeholders to understand and communicate business processes to diverse audiences at all levels within the organization. In this role, a typical day will include:
Collaborates with Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to interpret and document engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information.
Researches highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiples sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers.
Applies concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources.
Identify reoccurring incidents and requests for prioritization of job aid/ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) creation
Create standardized and update templates for Standard Operating Procedures, produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field, data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consultations with technical-personnel and other available resources
Conduct research and analysis for new content creation and document maintenance (technical writing and editing). Provide customer support for document owners and key stakeholders.
Is responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including cloud, software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5+ years in a technical writing and/or system development role
Proven experience designing and delivering developer-oriented documentation as well as working directly with development teams.
Experienced using multiple documentation tools to develop base templates and manipulate output styles.
A proven ability to distill complex information into clear, concise text.
Demonstrated excellent writing and grammar skills and ability to work independently, delivering accurate initial under deadline pressure.
Knowledge of the principles and practices involved in technical research, writing, and editing
Knowledge of and ability to use various word-processing and desktop publishing software applications
Knowledge of the organization’s products and services, customer requirements, purpose and structure of required documentation, and end user’s level of understanding
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Must have lived in the US 3 out of the last 5 years

Preferred skills and experience:
Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and/or other Health Insurance experience
US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Effective communications skills
Salesforce experience
