GDIT is seeking a Technical Project Lead to help support an exciting new Cloud Service Offering contract, Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS).

The Senior Project Manager will:

• Responsible for all aspects of project development and implementation from original inception to final completion.

• Serves as a single point of contact. Interfaces with all parties involved in the project including developers, administrators, engineers and customers.

• Gathers customers’ requirements and establish project scope and objectives.

• Prepares detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports.

• Allocates resources to facilitate the successful completion of projects.

• Coordinates and conducts meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.

• Reviews deliverables and ensures adherence to quality standards.

• Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and evaluates vendor deliverables.

• Provides recommendations and takes action to resolve any management related issues.

• Responsible for large projectsprograms or significant segment of a large complex projectprogram.

• Leads team on large projectsprograms or significant segment of large complex projectsprograms.

• Translate customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results or have acceptance in the targeted market, while meeting business objectives.

• Works with client to identify business requirements and develops the proposal.

• Subsequently leads a team in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing tasks of a projectprogram or segment of a projectprogram to produce the solution deliverable.

• Executes a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, test and final delivery.

• Formulates partnerships between customer, suppliers and staff.

• Anticipates potential projectprogram related problems.

• Utilizes refined techniques for identifying, eliminating or mitigating solution, projectprogram and business risk.

• Understands customer, industry and business trends.

• Applies this understanding to meet projectprogram objectives.

• As appropriate, challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.

• Analyzes information and situations and implement actions, independently and or through the management team to ensure projectprogram objectives are met.

• Analyzes new and complex projectprogram related problems and creates innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.

Required Qualifications:

• Active DoD Secret clearance

• BA/BS Degree

• 6 years of experience (additional years of experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of education)

• 2 years experience managing Cloud Service Offering Projects

• Proven project management experience

• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

Desired Qualifications:

• PMP, ITIL, and/or SixSigma certifications
