General Micro Systems East Hiring for Flight Follower Dispatcher – Charter Airline at West Palm Beach, FL Full Time

Plus One Air is growing and we are looking to add Flight Follower Dispatchers to join our team in our 135 Operations based at the Fort Pierce International Airport. This is not a virtual or remote position, the incumbent must work onsite at our location at the Fort Pierce Airport.
Duties:

• Coordinate with ATC, crew scheduling, Maintenance Control, Reservations, Marketing, Catering, and Ground operations to efficiently utilize resources to achieve customer service.
• Dispatch company aircraft according to Government and Company regulations as set forth in FAR 135
• Delay or cancel a flight if unsafe conditions prevail (Joint Pilot and Dispatch responsibility)
• Analyze and evaluate meteorological information

Flight Follower Dispatcher Qualifications:

• Previous Section 135 Flight Dispatcher experience preferred but not required
• Prior Charter Operations and Flight Following experience (Preferred)
• Strong aviation background with an emphasis on aircraft Dispatching under FAR 135
• Technically oriented with a thorough understanding of aviation weather, flight planning, aircraft performance, Federal Aviation Regulations, and the ability to create and implement plans in a dynamic environment
• Strong Communication and Organizational skills
• Strong multi-tasking capability
• Must be able to work a flexible, rotating schedule including nights and weekends

Flight Follower Dispatcher Education, Licenses, Certificate, and Badge Requirements:

• High School Diploma required College degree preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience dispatch experience preferred with 135
• Must be computer literate/Microsoft
• Must be able to legally work in the USA without sponsorship (VISA)
• A resident of the USA states mainland at the time of application

Flight Follower Dispatcher Physical Requirements

• Work in a high-stress, dynamic environment while maintaining a calm composure
• Must be able to work a flexible, rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time, exposed to computer screen lighting, and artificial lighting.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA without sponsorship (VISA)
• A resident of the USA states mainland at the time of application
