Job Description

The EV Ecosystem and Ultium Home team is one of the most important organizations in General Motors. Comprising one of the three teams within EV Growth Operations, we are tasked with accelerating EV adoption through education, engagement, charging solutions, & infrastructure across all charging domains, serving multiple cohorts: customers, employees, dealers, and policymakers. The team works across the organization to accelerate EV adoption, deliver a superior shopper and owner experience, support the flawless launch of EVs, and develop new lines of business for GM. The goal is to “own the home” when it comes to a total energy solution for our customers.

Reporting directly to the Director | EV Ecosystem and Ultium Home Products, the Manager | Ultium Home Charging Products (Operations) leads cross-company strategies to accelerate EV adoption through cultivating and executing world class operations to ensure residential customers have the greatest product experience. This role has a direct impact on EV adoption by removing charge and range anxieties from the minds of our customers. Responsibilities

Managing business operations for charging products:

• Oversee Ultium charging product operations, including key milestone tracking and problem-solving issues to enable flawless launches

• Lead cross-functional forums (e.g. sub-PET/program execution team, program operations) to drive collaboration between Business, Engineering and Suppliers for product portfolio

• Owns relationship with strategic partners for installation, solar, customer care

• Develop and define business & program requirements, in collaboration with installation, sales and product teams

• Establish key performance indicators across the portfolio and surface insights that compel action & change behavior

• Lead relationship with CCA and CX to ensure world-class aftersales process & support for products

• Create a strong warranty program that puts the customer at the center of the experience working with hardware, installation, and strategic partners

• Brief and train CCA, CX, & Field/Dealer support teams to ensure cases (queries, issues) are resolved quickly

• Develop and present GM internal leadership updates on program performance

• Subject matter expert for all Ultium charging products & related solutions to provide training to suppliers, GM stakeholders

Develop future charging product operational strategy:

• Develop operational roadmap for current and future charging product portfolio, in concert with VSSM, Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, etc

• Develop a strategy for the future Ultium charging product & accessories portfolio to integrate with logistics, CCA, installation partners

• Work cross-company to identify new opportunities for CX enhancement and gain efficiencies to reduce operational costs to portfolio

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of product management, sales, marketing, CCA, CX

• Product marketing (research, planning, definition, business case)

• Program management (resource allocation, dependencies, execution)

• Customer journey and value stream mapping experience

• Marketing communications experience (i.e. brand, retail/dealer)

• Strong knowledge of dealer operations (field/fleet experience preferred)

• Proven track record of managing suppliers and 3rd party partners

• Experience presenting to Senior Leadership

• Other:

• Interest in becoming technically proficient in the unique aspects of EVs: charge times/lengths, types of chargers, customer requirements

• Willing to travel approximately 20% of the time, as vital to execute responsibilities of the position

Compensation : The expected base compensation for this role is $131,243 – $201,018 USD Annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential : An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
