Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About the role:Work with key business partners to drive value improvement guided by lean principles in order to support business strategy and priorities.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinate and lead facility layout and design projects within business units.Identify and champion value improvement projects throughout the business.Identification of improvement opportunities and initiation of related projects.Actively deploy and coach the organization on Lean and LBP Essentials.Lead and coach cross functional problem solving and process improvement teams.Generate and maintain business data and outputs (e.g., time studies, work content graphs).Create and update labor standards per policySupport the ongoing introduction and advancement of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices across the site.Lead projects and provide support to manufacturing teams in the execution ofKaizen/ continuous improvement activities.Promote, educate , and instill culture of identification and elimination of waste.Drive standardization of work methods, ensuring the standards are documented.Demonstrate working knowledge of Industrial Engineering tools & practices to continually drive improvement in process/equipment design, layout and operational performance.Maintaining a verified up to date database of standard times, populated IE tools and core metrics for area of responsibilityMentor Lean champions supporting lean initiatives.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related Engineering field2+ years of Industrial Engineering experience2+ years of experience applying and utilizing Lean principles, tools and systemsPreferred Qualifications:Medical device industry experience4+ years of Engineering experienceLean Six Sigma Certifications (Green/Black Belt).Project management experienceRequisition ID:494379As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.
