Whether you have many years of experience or are in the early stages on your career, you can find a rewarding career at Grady!SUMMARYSUMMARYThe NET Driver I safely and expeditiously transports senior citizens & medical patients with on-going care to/from residence and Grady facilities, and decreases 911 Emergency activation on Nurse Advice calls.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED required.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.Must possess a current, valid Georgia Driver’s License and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record per department policy throughout employment.Must possess the ability to operate a motorized wheelchair van lift and other vehicle safety equipment.Must be certified or eligible for certification as a driver for Grady Health System.EMT-B or currently enrolled in an EMT program is preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer-Minorities/Females/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.PRN staff are required to work a minimum of three (12hour) shifts per schedule, yet hours are based on the needs of the unit(s) andare not guaranteed. Theyare considered the first to float in order to assure safe staffing requirementsacross the nursing units.WeekendRequirements:One (1) weekend shift per 4- week schedule.
